Ahrro and the Biosphere

Description

Ahrro and the Biosphere have a long story behind them, which I've written most of below. (If you want a shorter, slightly more basic version, scroll down to the first break in text after this.)

---

At the beginning of time, there existed only a sphere containing the power of life itself. The sphere’s first creation was a planet, a seemingly perfect world for any and all of the life it intended to begin. The first creature created was an immortal resembling many different forms of life that called itself Ahrro. With Ahrro alive to roam the world as it was created, the sphere was able to perfect its landscapes, oceans, plant-life – everything in it to best suit all that would soon live upon it. When the world was complete, the sphere brought Ahrro to the top of the world, where it used the creature’s body as a model to spawn and spread many different forms of early life across the planet, which was then named Caidrynel by Ahrro. Ahrro remained with the sphere at the top of Caidrynel, learning everything it would allow him to of its secrets, and how to harness all that it was capable of and how to control it faultlessly. As he did, life grew and evolved all around the world into many different forms of society, both civilized and wild, and even places in-between. Eventually though, some of the more civilized creatures began to ponder on their creation, and began to search the world for signs of all beginnings. After many generations, some, braving the frozen tundra at the top of the world, discovered Ahrro and the sphere. Ahrro granted the explorers the knowledge of the Caidrynel’s creation, and naively believed it would be used only for good and the sake of teaching. Unfortunately, not all forms of life in the world were as civilized and peaceful as Ahrro had thought. Long after Ahrro’s knowledge was granted, a series of campaigns began in some civilizations that longed for the power of the sphere, commonly referred to across the world by now as the Biosphere, brainwashed by the explorers’ tale into believing it would mean many great things to come for their people and the world in the future. Alas, Ahrro knew that no creature could handle such an immense power as one over life itself, and that it would surely bring an ironic and horrible future to the world if any civilization got its hands on the biosphere. When Ahrro came to realize the biosphere truly was endangered, not only by eager explorers and campaigners, but also by savages and thieves, the creature reconstructed his form to be powerful enough to fend away all that endangered him, and then made the choice to divide the biosphere into eleven pieces, before it was found again, and scatter them across Caidrynel, hopefully to never be found. Ahrro then turned to all the people coming for the sphere’s power, and fought to keep all away from where it once rested. Few escaped Ahrro’s wrath, and only one escapee had witnessed what Ahrro had done prior to the attack. This last escapee died soon after, but was able to chronicle what he believed he saw at the top of the world before passing away. One important detail it mentioned was that he had heard Ahrro speak aloud a prophecy, allegedly from the either sphere or the world itself – it was never discovered – that one day, far, far from that day, when all the scattered pieces of the biosphere had been uncovered and brought together, they would be returned to the top of the world for a final missing piece by a frail, dying creature, scarred by evil hands and bearing a silver limb. The chronicled tale was lost to the ages, however, and with little to no remaining support or proof that the biosphere had ever existed at the top of the world, it soon became rumor, legend, and myth, that, for one, small orbs existed, hidden all across the world, that together granted the most powerful treasure a creature could imagine, and also, that at the top of the world rested a vile, immortal beast that killed anything it ever saw come close. Ahrro watched as the world grew to hate whatever its idea of the creature at the top of the world came to be, yet still believe that, if there was an entity in the world, it was a great and powerful being named Ahrro, and all the while, wonder in awe at the legend of the ancient orbs that could bring the greatest treasure of all if they were ever found and brought together, rather uncaring for the ironic modern reputations of such things and glad that at least now the biosphere and its old resting place at the top of Caidrynel appeared to be safe for as long as these “fairy tales” existed. Only the few wisest of all creatures across Caidrynel, who Ahrro entrusted the knowledge of the biosphere, its power, and its pieces’ locations to, knew the truth, and guarded these secrets from the world, save for whatever also-trustworthy heir each had.

Shorter version:
The universe and all that is in it was all spawned from a sphere that is known today as the Bioshpere. It's first living creation was a small, immortal, and intelligent creature named Ahrro, who lived on a planet the sphere created with the intention of a "perfect" world. After the world was completed, the sphere brought Ahrro to the north pole to keep it, and used the creature's body as a base to create vast numbers of super-primitive species. Ahrro named the world Caidrynel, and began to learn all that he could from the sphere as life across the planet began to grow naturally. Ages later, many evolved species gaining higher intelligence (for their time) began to ponder on their origins. Not long after, (comparatively, at least) Ahrro and the sphere were discovered, and Ahrro decided to share knowledge with those who found him. He did not know, though, that over time the knowledge he granted would inspire greedy fascination in many, to a point that he and the sphere could have been endangered. When he came to learn this to be the truth, Ahrro reconstructed is form to become strong enough to fend away all that endangered himself and the sphere. He then split the sphere apart, and scattered its pieces across the world, and then fought away or killed all who dared approach him. Few escaped, and as time went on, eventually most known information about Ahrro and the Biosphere began to disintegrate and turn into myths and fairy tales, which told the stories of: a "magic orb" that could supposedly do anything its user wanted it to do, and was considered the greatest treasure in the world; a godly, all-knowing being named Ahrro, who came to be worshiped by many; and a horrifying monster, which lived at the north pole, and ended the life of anything it ever saw. Ahrro was glad for what had become of the stories of himself and the Biosphere - he cared not for their reputation, but for their safety, and these "fairy tales" seemed to be a long-lasting guarantee of his wishes.
