Among the Afterlife

I began drawing a creepy character, and before long he started resembling a more familiar one. I wasn't sure what to make of him, originally, but before getting to heavily into detail, I decided: This is Faullyn Skautch as a sort of demon in the Afterlife. (...Maybe. Might make a few changes if I draw him like this again.)

This was inspired in part by the character Ryuk from Death Note, something an anime addict friend of mine had me watch a bit of recently.

Note: Yeah, if you know me well, you know I'm an atheist who doesn't believe in any sort of Afterlife, but that doesn't matter, because like a lot of things I don't believe in, I've always found it fun and interesting to work with.

I think I may color this later.

So, I started working on a backstory for Faullyn and why he is like this, but after coming about || that close to finishing it, I think I've decided instead to leave his past a mystery to be discovered someday by whoever gives enough of a shit to delve deeply into the character in an RP or something similar. Maybe I'll come back to here once it's been revealed and put it in, but for now, his official history record will remain blank, known only to him/me.
